I recently found 1000 mines patterns and realized that one of the key strategies in Minesweeper is to use subtractions to determine where mines are located. For example, if a square has the number 3 on it, the player knows that there are three mines in the adjacent squares. The player can then mark the surrounding squares as mines and use that information to determine where other mines are located.
