The report uses public data from the UK governement to track UK road fuel prices for petrol (gasoline) and diesel from 2003 onwards together with the tax share.

Deliberately minimalist, it is an update on a report by my colleague at Altis Consulting, @Ian_Stuart_Rupe created in 2019 and tells a data story using the minimum of non data ink as suggested by Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic in Story Telling With Data (2015) where we call out the data label colours in headings.
