Great question and I'm glad you are checking out my top tutorials. Here is a suggestion for incorporating multiple entries for each state.
Try creating a measure such as Total = sum( 'Data from Google'[Sessions]) This will for each state total all the numbers of sessions by each state.
for this paricular visual I was able to use the Shape Map. Here is how the visual looks and the measure I created:
Total = SUM('All Web Site Data'[Entrances])
That should get you closer to an acceptable solution.

thanks so much for your quick reply and your suggestions! Your Scrrenshots revealed the visual (Shape Map) that I had yet to discover within the BI. You need to select it within the Options of Power BI.
Following your way, I know am able to create a individual map for what I was looking for!
