Space Mission Analytics
This space dashboard, built using the Maven Analytics challenge dataset, provides an in-depth analysis of space missions. Key metrics include the number of missions, their costs, active and retired rockets, and detailed breakdowns such as missions by country, missions by year, cost trends over time, mission status, and missions by company. The dashboard also has slicers for country and mission, allowing users to explore more specific datapoints.
Challenge: One of the primary challenges in this project was presenting complex and multidimensional data in a clear and actionable format. With diverse variables such as mission costs, rocket status, and temporal trends, maintaining user-friendliness while ensuring depth of insights was crucial.
Solution: This dashboard overcomes the challenge by using concise visualizations to present complex data in an accessible format. Segmentation by year, country, and company simplifies data exploration, while filters empower users to customize their views. The inclusion of mission status and rocket activity adds depth to the analysis, offering a holistic view of space exploration trends.
