Why were you interested in telling this story?
For the Year in Review contest I wanted to find a subject/topic that was unique and interesting but also presented an element of concern and alarm. I decided to look into a term know as Selfitis which in December 2017 was recognised as a genuine mental condition.
Selfitis can be defined as "Feeling an obsessive need to post selfies on social media"
Most people, including myself, see Selfie taking as harmless fun but this recent classification of Selfitis is worrying and reminds us that self-image and social media can be a recipe for disaster

Tell us about one decision you made when building the report, for example why did you
use certain colors, visuals or features in Power BI?
One thing I wanted to incorporate into this report was the option for the user to have the option to view in desktop/landscape view or a mobile view. I've found it can be difficult navigating certain reports from a smaller mobile device, especially when there's lots of interactive features and detail on the page. Using the Letter type page size this allows you to optimise the view for a mobile device which makes the report much more user friendly (I would usually use Phone Layout to create a mobile view but as far as i'm aware this only applies to PBIS reports and not publish-to-web reports).
