In Project Management, you constantly see "current state" reports. This is, of course, good and needed, but being able to visualize trends adds value to understanding project performance. This report provides the best of both worlds.
Starting at the top you have several current state metrics, as well as the ability to slice the report two ways - date and region.
The bar chart, which visualizes current state cost by project and is color saturated by % Complete, can be used to cross-filter the line charts.
Lastly, you have four line charts showing you the trends for Cost metrics, Work metrics, Duration metrics, and SPI/CPI.
This ability to visualize performance over time by region and then drill-down into the project level is a demanding asset for any PMO.
