Hello Power BI Community,
========== If you want to play with the report follow this link ===========
Today I will bring you another Power BI design. This is one of 8 pages about Online Brand Monitoring, Sentiment analysis and Social Media traffic. I am preparing a full tutorial in order to teach you how to create this kind of reports by your own, following very simple rules.
You don't need to know anything about R or another programing language, and you will use only visualizations gave them by default into Power BI Desktop (I never use other kind). The only knowledge you need to have is:
Power Query Skills (Low)
Power Pivot Skills (Medium)
Excel Skills (Medium)
Photoshop (Very Low)
Paint (Very Low)
Power BI Desktop (High)
I invite you to attend this meeting to see how I designed this report, and I will teach the basic rules creating reports in Power BI if you can't assist I will record it and post it in YouTube.

Hello @Mykhael
I enjoyed your application, and I need to create a graph that uses infrmando arrows if the value has increased or decreased from one period to another as your application does, I read that you're creating a tutorial teaching you how to create this application, you could help me in creating this chart?
Here is an example of what I'm trying to create:
hi Mykhael,
Can you please share name of the Visual (Custom visual?) used for Week and Other filters?
I didn't write this report, but I don't see any custom visuals on this report. The week & other filters are the standard slicer visual that is included with Power BI. (It's been formatted in a horizontal layout and coloured, but it is not a custom visual.)
The same goes for the rest of the report: there's fantastic use of shapes, colours, pictures, and icons. But nothing is custom - it's all out of the box Power BI, in the hands of a very talented person.
Hi Myhael,
When I was going through the samples, I really liked look & feel as well Visuals you used on this Dashboard.
Is it possible to share the links or paths of all Custom visuals (especially filters) you used along with few other recommended custom visuals?
It would be of great help if you can share the desktop file.
Thanks,
Nag.
just AWESOME work. Thanks 🙂
thank's @Mykhael
I'm working with a star model is a BI application is a simple star model, follows a picture of my model, you will need what details?
I like your work and I'm really interested in the techniques you are using to create such a report, however, if you're turning it into a competition of who gives you the most kudo's, then I'm out.
In the private message you sent me, you said that you want as many people to see your report (understandable), but you also said you want as many people to learn and grow from your work. If you really want people to learn and grow, you can also just publically share your tutorial/dashboard instead of giving it to the guy who gives you the most kudo's.
Sorry, but that's my point of view.
I'll look for a different place to learn new things concerning dashboard visualisations.
~ Niels.
Out of curiosity, what is it that breaks when Power BI Desktop updates? Is it the positioning/layering that gets thrown off? Or a particular technique you're using that breaks?
I ask because you only use the standard functionality of Power BI Desktop, so I would expect the report to be relatively stable across Power BI Desktop updates.
Hey Miguel - awesome to meet you in the Community lounge at the Summit. This report is fantastic! Sorry I didn't get a chance to plug you in my session (ran out of time!) but I'm really impressed by what you've done. Looking forward to seeing what else people can come up with after being inspired by this.
Great, this is looking wonderful!
Can't wait to see how you can create such a high-end visualisation on the dashboard. Currently, I just know how to create a dull, basic set of charts and slicers, which looks really unprofessional.
