Hello again, I have a question.
I have been using your chart on my company, it was awesome, but I have a question, I have used the waterfall graph to show the Income Statement of each client, and as I select on the slicer a month the graph show me the data of that month... Problem is, when there is no month selected it shows me a value that I do not know what is... It is not the sum of all the months (too low to be that), not the average... I have no idea of what is being shown when there is no month on the filter. Can you explain me what the graph do in thsi scenario?
Thank you.
Hi Renan,
Could you send me sample pbix file at zubair@excelnaccess.com. Would love to see whats going on.
Hello. I cannot because it is a file of my company and we are not allowed to share it. But it is a rather simples thing, I think that the way you programmed the graph should answer it. Basically, I want to know what is shown up on the graph when no date is selected. So, for example, I have data from jan 2022 to abr 2023, all of this data is being brought to the graph, and when I use the slicer to select a specific month, the date from that month is what appear on the graph... Promblem is, when no month is selected on the slicer there is a number that I just don't know what is on the graph. I just want to know what is being shown when there is no date selected.
Hello, I really liked this page. Can you tell me how you did those colums at the left side and what exaclt is on the x axis of the right graphs? Thnak you.
Hi Renan,
I am glad you liked it. Its built using my custom visual "Multiple sparklines". You can put anything on the Axis for example years, months, quarters for the trend sparklines
This is just a rough template using random numbers. More details on how to use this visual are in the webpage of this visual Multiple Sparklines – Power BI & Excel are better together (excelnaccess.com)
Helllo again. I have been trying to use your chart... I place the values on the line, bubble and so on, but literally nothing happens, only the "values" part work.
Can you share your file with me on zubair@excelnaccess.com
Thnak you very much.
