Data Source:
The data was sourced from publicly available U.S. healthcare datasets (CMS / hospital reporting data), including hospital ratings, ownership classification, service capabilities, and state-level information.
What this dashboard shows:
• Average hospital star ratings by ownership type (Government-run, For-Profit, Nonprofit)
• Distribution of hospitals by type and ownership
• Hospital capabilities such as emergency services and birthing-friendly designations
• Geographic trends showing the top states by hospital count for each ownership group
Key Insights:
