This dashboard presents New Zealand Covid-19 informaiton published by the Ministry of Health using 100% native visuals. This is a work in progress - I update the data daily, and am still working on building in further interactivity options and tweaking layout.
Yes, it's busier than your typical Power BI report: I'm trying to present as much prudent information as possible in one view. The reason it's busy is that I wanted to design something with some interactivity, but could also be printed out and used for briefings, or put on a large overhead display, tracking KPIs and the like.
The tradeoffs of this approach mean that:
1. It's not suitable for viewing on mobile devices (i might make up an optimised, simpler version given time); and
2. It will be slow to load; but
3. It will be much faster/easier for a user to make comparisons across different visuals than the more 'traditional' approach of leveraging slicers, tooltips, and additional pages that rely on users memory and impose #ClickTax.
While there's a lot of information shown, I don't believe it neccessarily imposes a heavier cognitive burden than say splitting it out into seperate views. You look at one panel, ask "What's in there then. Oh, Age profile. Cool" Then you look at the next. "Wow...those clusters grew like crazy from just one case. Scary". And so on. That said, I intend to make up a landing page where you can choose to see everything at once (i.e. this dashboard) or view the informaiton more piecemeal. Hopefully i'll be able to add tracking code to see if over time people prefer small bites, or a big one.
Constructive feedback welcomed.

Very nice dashboard Jeff, informative, but!
The first feedback would be this one: Not very Data-to-Ink ratio efficient on the upper part. I think it could be simpler and more legible, without color, but I think there is some relevance on the section of "Level 3" right?
Personally, the diagonal yellow-banded background distracts my eyes and it invades my attention to the informative charts and small multiples below.
Fair comment. I was designing it with the thought of having it embedded at the official NZ Govt Covid site, which uses that branding. https://covid19.govt.nz/
The Level 3 is a hyperlink to more info about what that means for NZ.
