This Covid-19 India v2 dashboard provides a comprehensive and detailed statistical report at both the state and district levels. By offering insights into daily cases, trends, and comparisons, it allows for a better understanding of the pandemic’s progression in India. One of the most valuable aspects of the dashboard is the "Daily Cases" analysis, which compares daily figures against a seven-day average. This helps in identifying trends and assessing whether a peak has been reached. Additionally, the breakdown of cases by state and district provides clarity on how different regions are affected, including death and recovery rates.
The inclusion of population-based statistics is another significant advantage. By normalizing data per million inhabitants, the dashboard provides a more accurate comparison between states and districts, avoiding misleading conclusions based on raw numbers alone.
Moreover, the feature that aligns data from the 50th case across regions offers a unique perspective, allowing for fair comparisons of the spread across different states. The forecasting tool adds further value by attempting to predict when case numbers might peak, aiding policymakers and healthcare professionals in decision-making.
