Today, the world is more integrated and advanced. We can notice the benefits of international trade in our everyday lives. Continuous innovation and go-global strategy from businesses and government will improve international trade. According to the World Economic Forum's article, Technological innovation offers an exciting future for international trade.
In Canada, international trade plays a vital role in economic growth and development. Currently, Canada has 14 Free Trade Agreements with international partners. A detailed list of Canada's trade agreements is available on the Government of Canada website.
The businesses must understand the international trade statistics. Data visualization tools will make it easier for decision-makers to gain insight, visualize the trade patterns, and make the right data-driven decisions.
This project intends to showcase my knowledge in international trade statistics and my data visualization skills in Power BI.
The project does not intend to replace the official information and reports from Statistics Canada's Canadian International Merchandise Trade Database. It is not guaranteed to be error-free, and discrepancies may exist.
