I categorised this report into Global Challenges. You might find this strange as it only deals with data from my hometown of
Ballinasloe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballinasloe .
I was shocked when I visualised rainfall data from www.met.ie that there is a forever upward trend for rain in Ballinasloe. For
my part of the world, increased rain for Ireland is predicted, so the data is showing that global warming is already happening!
So my local challenge is OUR global challenge.
Specifically in 2009 we got majorily hit by rain and eventhough in 2015 we got even more rain our town was better prepared
and did not suffer as much - well done Ballinasloe environmental defence team!
I presented the file at our last meeting before Christmas of the Galway Power BI User Group and we're looking forward to more members presenting their Power BI files in 2019.
