Hi, I want to do a similar report for my local ParkRun, but I am having some issues with the Date format. Did you have any issues with that?
It took a lot of power query editing to get the data in a useful format. It's not the cleanest dataset. I also think they have recently added a "human" verification page to the results pages which caused me an issue when I last tried to refresh the data in this report and I haven't reviewed the pibx file since as it just isn't a priority for me anymore.
sorry for the delay, ive added a bitly link to the pbix file in my description, it may be a little messy and im doing quite a bit of work to try and generate a primary key for runners, essentially the runners barcode number is not published in the results so i need to create a dummy primary key, there are commonly duplicate names especially with people who register with dummy names (probably for data privacy) so i do a bit of work to split out the names, how many parkruns they have completed at my home parkrun and the number they have completed all time and combine these together to try and make a primary key... it doesnt work all of the time so there are some errors and this may be compounded at other events.
if you make any improvements or have any suggestions for improvements let me know, it does take a bit of time to refresh the data and i still havent updated it to run from the powerbi service yet but the refresh can be ran manually ive just updated it today
i also think id like to use the new dynamic lables to add in the time as hh:mm:ss rather than decimal time but i need to find some time from somehwere to do this in the future
hope you like having a look at my messy pbix file 🙂
