What optimization techniques have given you the biggest performance improvements in Microsoft Fabric
Delta tables
Partitioning
Shortcuts
Spark optimization
Warehouse indexing
Query optimization.
Hi binitafulpagare,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
There isn't a single optimization that provides the biggest improvement in every scenario, as it depends on the workload.
However, in most Microsoft Fabric implementations, optimizing delta tables, proper partitioning and efficient query design, typically provide the most useful performance improvements. Spark tuning can further improve processing performance, while shortcuts mainly help reduce data duplication and simplify data management rather than directly improving query performance.
Thanks and regards,
