Hi all,
Description:
Steps to Reproduce:
Open AutoML and start a new training job.
Choose Lakehouse as the choose data source and select a CSV file.
Model purpose: Binary classification and "Quick prototype" or "Interpretable"
Training data: select the prediction column
Expected Behavior:
The Next button should open the last step "Review and create".
Hi @JohannLh, it looks like the fix is pushed to all regions. I also confirmed in my tenant that the button works again.
Looks like you can get around this by pressing "Start with a new notebook" then click 'Run New AutoML' from here and you will be able to use this feature, which flils out the notebook with markdown and code for your model.
The Next button finally showed up today (12-09-2025). When testing the next step, the AutoML model still freezes on the last step. The "Create" button is not active to proceed and create the model via UI.
Hi @JohannLh, I contacted Microsoft and they said it's a known issue and are working on a solution, which will be released on December 8.
Hope this helps. If so, please give a Kudos 👍 or mark as Accepted Solution ✔️.
Hey @nielsvdc any update on this? The "Next" button still doesn't do anything for me.
Hi @DataAidan, neither in my environment. We might need to wait another day for the release to be rolled out globally. I will check with the Microsoft on Wednesday if it's still not working.
Hi @JohannLh, I can replicate your problem. This looks like a bug as the button is not doing anything. I have reported this bug to Microsoft with the request ID 2511241420003674. I will report back when I have any update about this.
Hope this helps. If so, please give a Kudos 👍 or mark as Accepted Solution ✔️.
