SAP BW 7.5 > Fabric

Hi All,

We are in a unique position where a majority of our data assests live in SAP BW 7.5.
We have been mirroring core data from BW to SQL Server On Prem for around a year now. We now have a fabric capacity and are exporing options of delivering this data to Fabric.

We just aren't sure if that is possible.

Azure DF has a Open Hub Connector, but Fabric doesn't.

Our best case would be BW pushing data to Fabric, but we aren't sure if this is possible either?

I've checked the Fabric road map and can't see the OpenHub connector mentioned anywhere.

We don't want to use the BW connector with Pipeline Gen 2 due to data volume.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Hi @Louis020790 ,

Currently in Fabric Data Factory, only Dataflow Gen2 supports connecting to SAP BW application servers.

Data Factory in Microsoft Fabric doesn't currently support an SAP BW Application Server connection in data pipelines.
