Migrating from Informatica Data Integration ETLs to Fabric ETLs

Hi,

I need to evaluate the possibility to migrate several Informatica Data Integration ETLs to Fabric ETLs.

Does it exist any accelerator tools or automatic processes or best practices or other tips in order to accomplish a such activity, please?

Many thanks

Hi @pmscorca,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Currently, there isn't a direct migration tool from Informatica to Microsoft Fabric. However, we can rebuild the ETL processes manually using Fabric’s Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks. If you're already using Azure Data Factory, we can also leverage those patterns to simplify and accelerate the transition.

Hi, it could be useful to know the mapping between the Informatica Data integration objects and Fabric Data Factory objects at least.

Thanks

Hi @pmscorca,

For ETL object mapping (Informatica → Fabric Data Factory/Dataflows), there is no official Microsoft doc that covers it end-to-end yet.

Please refer below document it might be helpful

Vinay
