copy data activity, cant write to lakehouse, failed to report to fabric capacity

I am using a copy data step to ingest data from a folder on a virtual machine. I have set up an on-prem gateway on the vm and the connection is succesful. Investigating the job (Have also gotten the same results in dataflow gen 2) I can see that it reads data from the source and the mapping is correct. However the job fails after 5~minutes and I get the error `Failed to report Fabric capacity. Capacity is not found`. I am using a trial capacity and other jobs in the environment works just fine. What should I do?

Hi @JorgenHe,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

After thoroughly reviewing the details you provided, I have identified few workarounds that may help resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:

The error message "Failed to report Fabric capacity. Capacity is not found" generally indicates that the Fabric capacity for your workspace has either been deallocated or is currently unavailable.

Upgrade the capacity: As you are currently utilizing a trial capacity, it is possible that the resources provided are insufficient for your current workload. To address this issue, consider upgrading to a production or paid capacity.

Ensure that your workspace has an assigned Fabric capacity. You might need to contact your Fabric capacity administrator to verify this. Consider creating a new workspace and migrating your data and jobs to this new workspace. This has been a workaround for some users facing similar issues.
