As title says, I am unable to delete a particular Shared Query in Fabric SQL Database. For reference I am the query owner.
Please find a screenshot and error message attached
Below is the error message
Update query failed. The user is not the query owner and cannot edit the un-shared query.

I followed the steps you provided t check the current owner for the shared query and these options don't exist - there is no Manage permissions under the Shared Query area.
Can you check the ellipsis (...) next to the parent i.e. the Warehouse and see who's the Owner?
Could you also try moving the shared query by clicking "Move to My Queries" and then try deleting it?

Since you no longer have "query owner" rights, you have two pragmatic options:
Duplicate the Query & Delete Unshared Copy
Change Ownership or Permissions
You can also check who is the current owner for the shared query.
