@dab111

I guess you opened default dataset (semantic model). Open reporting tab and click on manage semantic model and then select the tables which are necessary and un select the remaining tables. Then click on confirm, on the left navigation pane and you shoud be abel to see the 'New Measure' option.

I verified this option in two fabric tenants and I can see the 'New Measure' option

HI @dab111,

After you attach these table to the model, have you enter to the warehouse semantic model to check if these table successed added to the semantic model? (they may existed some delay to sync these tables to the model, you can wait some minutes and re-open the warehouse to refresh model tables)

I test and find these model operations(new measure/column) only existed when you semantic model existed model tables.

tables added to the modeltables added to the model

after remove tables from modelafter remove tables from model

Hi @dab111

I think Microsoft updated the UI part. Microssoft people continuesly updataing the Power BI/ Fabric UI on regular basis. That's why you are not found New Measure.

Any way, still there is a option to create a measure, pls see the below snapshot

suparnababu8_0-1726980167059.png

1. Click on ellipsis(...) on the table where you have to create measure.

2. Then click on 'New Measure', If you want to create  a DAX measure.

3. If you want to create 'Calculated Column' then click on that option.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks!

Hi, i still dont have all the options:
