Salesforce Connector with ClientID and Secret

Hi,

I have been using salesforce connector in my Synapse Pipeline where I connect using ClientID and Secret. But in Fabric Salesforce Connector is not having that option, it only has option to use login credential. 

Is there any idea when the option of ClientID and Secret will be available. As login credential is not applicable to us as client do not want us to give login credential as it can be used to access their portal.

I understand your concern about the Salesforce Connector in Microsoft Fabric not having the option to use ClientID and Secret for authentication. This is indeed an issue for clients who prefer not to share login credentials. 

However, currently, there is no specific information available regarding when the option to use ClientID and Secret will be added to the Fabric Salesforce Connector. It might be helpful to keep an eye on the Microsoft Fabric official announcements for any updates on connectors.

I don't think that is anywhere on the roadmap.
