Salesforce Connector in Fabric - How to connect using a custom user/password
- 1 year ago
Hi Anonymous
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
As highlighted by nilendraFabric, the documentation in the image confirms that the Salesforce Objects connector in Microsoft Fabric supports only Organizational Account authentication for both Copy and Dataflow Gen2.
This aligns with the statement that OAuth 2.0 is the only available authentication method, and manually entering a custom username and password is not supported.Note Reference link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-factory/connector-salesforce-objects
If the above information is helpful, please give us Kudos and mark the response as Accepted as solution.

Hello Anonymous
Connecting Salesforce to Microsoft Fabric using a username/password with a service account is not directly supported by the native Salesforce connector, which primarily relies on OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication
