Running selected cells in a notebook

Hi,

I know how to run selected code in a single cell, how to run "above" or "below including current" cells. But is there a way to run selected cells?

Sounds simple and maybe there is an option, but I couldn't find it. Decided to better run it by the community first.

Hi @Ostrzak ,

As far as I know, you cannot run the code selected in a single cell, you can only run the entire cell or "Run All", "Run Cells Above", "Run Cells Below".

These options can be seen in the screenshot below:

If you want to run a single selected cell, click the triangle icon next to the cell.

@Ostrzak Have you tried the "Freeze cell" functionality which enables you to "freeze" each cell which you don't want to run?

In effect, it should enable you to control which cells in the Notebook gets run.

Well, you can run selected code in a cell. My question was about something else, so I'm not sure why it is marked as solved. I wanted to run selected cells in the middle of the notebook.
