Problems adding and configuring additional Office 365 Outlook activities in Fabric Pipeline

Hello. Has anybody experienced the following issue? When adding an additional Office 365 Outlook (Preview) activity to a pipeline, we are unable to sign into the Office 365 Outlook Account and then apply settings to the activity as the logon window does not appear when we select the sign in button on the activity. This occurs whether an existing Office 365 Outlook activity is copied or a new one inserted from the Pipeline Activities menu. The workaround is that we have to add the additional Office 365 Outlook activity to the pipeline without attempting to sign in and apply any settings to it. Then we have to save the pipeline and close it. Then open the pipeline again, go straight to the previously added new Office 365 Outlook activity and select to sign in to an Outlook account. The login window then appears, we are able to login and then apply the appropriate settings to the activity and connect it to any previous or future activities in the pipeline. We then have to save the pipeline. This process has to be repeated each time we want to add an additional Office 365 Outlook activity. Previously we have been able to add multiple Office 365 Outlook activities and configure them in one session of the pipeline, but the issue started occuring on 24th July 2025. Thanks.

HI @Ste15ton ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.

Please follow below steps.

1. Please sign out of Fabric and Clear your browser cache or open an Incognito/private window. In Windows Credential Manager, remove any stored “Microsoft Fabric” or “Microsoft Outlook Connector” credentials.

2. Sign in to Fabric in the browser with your work M365 account. In Azure portal, go to Azure Active Directory --> Enterprise applications, find “Microsoft Outlook Connector,” and check it’s been granted admin consent.

3. In a new pipeline, don’t copy the Outlook activity, add it from the Activities pane. click Settings --> Sign in. If you still see no pop-up, Disable pop-up blockers/extensions or try another browser. Then click Sign in again. Save & reopen workaround. If the dialog only appears after saving the pipeline and reopening, follow the temporary workaround until the issue is fixed.

There was a change in Power BI Desktop but not in the Power BI Service/Fabric version  (at least it doesn't show yet).
