Private endpoint for the Fabric SQL Analytics Endppoint

Hello,

In order for us to work securely with Fabric we wish to create a Private Endpoint on a VNET for our Fabric SQL Analytics Endpoint.  This will expose an IP address for  it and allow us to work with that IP address in various firewalls we have set up.  I have not found any documentation or discussions on this.  We have set up private endpoints for the Serverless SQL Pool in Synapse without issue and just wish to do the same with Fabric. Is it possible?

Thanks,

Anthony

Hi @tonyv ,

Yes, it is possible to create a private endpoint for the fabric's SQL endpoint.

This can be done using Azure Private Link, follow the steps below:

Go to Workspace Settings >> Select the Network Security tab >> Click the Create option >> Specify the name of the dedicated endpoint and copy the resource identifier of the Azure resource.

For more detailed steps and more information please see:

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.
