Power BI - Fabric Capacity Metrics
Hi girishtharwani2,
Thank you for the follow-up question.
The Fabric Capacity Metrics app only shows storage consumption at the workspace level and does not provide a drill-down to the exact file or table consuming the storage. This is why you're unable to identify the specific source of the 500 GB usage from the Capacity Metrics report alone.
To identify the storage consumer, navigate to Workspace Settings → One Lake → Storage report (Preview). The Storage Report provides item-level storage details and can help you determine which Lakehouse, Warehouse, Semantic Model, Mirrored Database, or other Fabric item is consuming the most storage within the workspace.
If you need more granular details, open the identified item and review its tables, files, historical data, shortcuts, or mirrored data, as the Storage Report may not always provide a file-level or table-level breakdown.Refer these links:

Hey
To discover high GB consumption in the Fabric Capacity Metrics app, follow these steps:
- Assess the Storage Page in Capacity Metrics App
- Discover the High-Consuming Workspace
- Drill Down by Experience and Item Type
- Check Trends Over Time
This approach will help you spot and optimize storage consumption.
i am not getting to drill down experience and Item Type
