Occasional failure to to connect to Warehouse in Fabric pipeline

Just wanted to let Microsoft know that today my pipeline failed to run a stored procedure in my data warehouse due to this error:

Cannot connect to SQL Database. Please contact SQL server team for further support. Server: 'k6n2b5gig2deldcoybxrjkvnuq-oxhtwc3pwbbexooedgm4cakqii.datawarehouse.fabric.microsoft.com', Database: '6afe066c-a4b1-47a3-ad9e-4eddf12e2f77', User: ''. Check the connection configuration is correct, and make sure the SQL Database firewall allows the Data Factory runtime to access.

It worked just minutes before, and it worked again just minutes after. And it has been working fine for weeks before that.

As I wrote in the first message, the SP worked just before and just after the failed run. This seems to have been some temporary Fabric issue. just wanted you to know.

There are no issues with points 1-4. And it's a Warehouse. And we have no Integration runtimes in Fabric as far as I know.

Hi @JE_test,

Thanks for reaching out Fabric community support.

To troubleshoot the SQL Database connection issue, you should verify the following:

  1. Double-check the connection details like the server name, database name, and user credentials to ensure they are correct.
  2. Check if Azure Active Directory authentication is properly configured, if applicable.
  3. Confirm that the Integration Runtime has network access to the SQL Database and is properly configured.
  4. Check that the user or managed identity has the necessary permissions to access the database.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, please do let us kow
