How can I change SQL Analytics Endpoint name to be the same as its associated lakehouse name?
Hi @amaaiia ,
Is my follow up just to ask if the problem has been solved?
If so, can you mark the correct answer as accepted as a solution or share your solution to help other members find it faster?
Thank you very much for your cooperation!

Hello,
I need both names to be the same and I still have different names. If I create a new lakehouse and then I change the name, yes, SQL Analytics Endpoint name changes. But it's not happening with the lakehouse I'm talking about.
Hi @amaaiia ,
Thanks for the reply from @AndyDDC .
Each Lakehouse automatically generates a SQL Analytics Endpoint for querying data in the Lakehouse. Lakehouse does not support renaming SQL Analytics Endpoint.
I tested it and the only way to reproduce your error is when you just change the name of the Lakehouses, but the name is the same after a few minutes, so this may be due to network delay.
I'm wondering if your current Lakehouse has had the same problem before, or if this is a recent problem. If it was running fine before, I would like to know what actions you did.

Hi @Anonymous , @AndyDDC .
Yes, I created the Lakehouse on 2024-02-21, and some days ago I changed the name of the Lakehouse. The name of the SQL Analytics Endpoint didn't change.
Hi @amaaiia ,
Thank you for your prompt follow-up, which was helpful in resolving the issue.
First, let me confirm that your Lakehouse name is modified in Settings the same way as in my screenshot?
Secondly, you can try Sign out and then Sign in to see if that solves the problem.
Lastly, could you please create a new lakehouse and change its name and see if that reproduces the problem? If you can reproduce the problem, please share the information of your Fabric environment, similar to the screenshot below.
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.

Hi @amaaiia you're Lakehouse name and SQL Endpoint name should be the same. If you change the Lakehouse name, the SQL Endpoint will also change names to match it. Do you know how the names have become different?
