Issue with MS Fabric account
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi v-pnaroju-msft,
The issue still persists if I keep using the same account for my project which I used for trial capacity before.
So, I have got access to the Fabric platform with my other client email id. This resolved the issue. I am able to access all the resources now with out any issues.
Thank you.
Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
It appears that your environment is still linked to your Microsoft Fabric trial capacity, which may be causing conflicts when accessing the Spark UI and workspaces in Visual Studio Code.
We kindly request you to follow the steps below, which may help to resolve the issue:
- Cancel the Trial Capacity if Still Active. Please go to the Account Manager from your profile on the Fabric portal. If the trial is active, click on "Cancel Trial" and verify the status.
- Assign Workspaces to the Correct Capacity.Navigate to the Workspaces section, select the relevant workspace, and access the Workspace Settings. Ensure it is assigned to your project’s production capacity.
- Sign out of Visual Studio Code and clear any cached credentials. Then, re-sign in using your project credentials. Also, confirm that the Fabric extension is installed and connected properly.
- Ensure that your user account has the appropriate permissions. Confirm that all workspaces and assets are mapped to the correct capacity. If needed, please request your Administrator to verify this.
If you find our response helpful, we kindly ask you to mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members who may face similar queries.
Thank you.
