How to save a table in Fabric Lakehouse

Hi all,

While I am exploring Fabric Notebooks, I can find we can attach multiple lakehouse in notebook.

I would like to know is there a way to save the data in table/file in lakehouse, which is not default.

Hi @yash_robin ,

Thanks for using Fabric Community,

Inorder to save your file in a lakehouse apart from the default lakehouse you need to use ABFS path and if you are saving it as a table try using lakehouse_name.table_name

Please find the screenshot below:

Hope this is helpful. Please feel free incase of any queries.

I think if you want to read or write from another lakehouse in the same workspace as the notebook's default lakehouse (the one marked with the pin icon), then you can use lakehouse_name.table_name notation.

If you want to read or write from a lakehouse in another workspace than the notebook's default lakehouse, then I think you need to use the full abfss path.
