How to query varchar >8000 length with SQL analytics endpoint

Hi,

i have a column that store string data with >8000 text,  i would like to query this column with SQL analytics endpoint , however , apparently currently SQL analytics endpoint use varchar type with max length 8000, any string data longer than 8000 bytes will be turncated. 

is there anyway to get around this to query a string column with data larger than 8000 bytes through SQL analytics endpoint?

Hi! Unfortunately, there are limitations. so, the only way is to split it. I was raising a ticket to the support team, but my case differed. I had a wide table with 1k columns, so the total number of values was more than 8k, so I was even unable to create table. Despite having delta table created, it was not appearing in endpoint

"So, when a delta table is created in Fabric Lakehouse, in background, the service will create a similar table in SQL endpoint. (which will be read only mode). 
So, this operation is a SQL operation (so SQL supports only 8000 characters in a column) ". Here is the reply text
