How can I stop/delete an orphaned “Report Usage Metrics Model” that keeps refreshing after deletion

Hi everyone,

I previously had a Power BI report in the workspace workspace1, but that report has now been deleted.

However, in Fabric Monitor, I still see an activity called “Report Usage Metrics Model” running continuously every couple of hours. The item type is shown as Semantic model, the status is Succeeded, and the location is still workspace1.

The issue is that I cannot find this semantic model in the workspace item list, and there are no reports left in that workspace. It looks like an orphaned/system-created usage metrics model that remains after the original report was deleted.

My questions are:

1. How can I stop this Report Usage Metrics Model from refreshing?
2. Is there a way to delete this orphaned usage metrics semantic model from the workspace?
3. Does this require a tenant admin to disable Usage metrics for content creators, or can a workspace admin remove it?
4. If the model is hidden, where can I find it and manage it?
