Failure Notification is not sending emails to distribution list

Hello All,

 

I was configuring the Failure Notification option in Fabric Data Piplines. It is working well for use using individual developer emails. We switched it tour teams distribution list and it seems to have stopped sending those Emails.

 

I tested with both Distribution list and Developer email, it seems like it sends notification only for the developer email.

 

Could anyone suggest me what am I doing wrong here?

Hey @lbendlin ,

I have checked alot of things and it seems like there was an organisational restiction on external email to distrubtion list and that was the blocker. The moment I removed it; Distrubtion List is getting the email!

Oh, I couldnt find it anywhere in documentation could you please drop a link wehre it is mentioned?

I don't think this is mentioned in the documentation but the workarounds date back to the last decade already
