Fabric vs Azure Synapse Analytics
Hi tan_thiamhuat,
Thanks for actively participating in MS Fabric community support
Fabric runs on OneLake, a single data lake across the organization (similar to OneDrive for files), and provides a SaaS experience across all personas—data engineers, analysts, scientists, and business users.

-
Use Synapse where deep integration, fine-tuned control, or legacy support is needed.
-
Use Fabric for modern, unified analytics with easier governance, low-code/no-code capabilities, and better M365 integration.
Thanks,

We need Microsoft Fabric because of whole concept of Data Lakehouse aka Delta Lake. The first implementor of Delta Lake is from Databricks. For that, you have to understand the ACID Transactions in Delta Lake ( Think about that Database ).
For that, You have to start from scratch. Google has implemented open source Linux Systems. ( fs ls commands ) and later Databricks copied Google ( Apache Spark (Data Lake ) + Delta Lake ( Data Lakehouse )) and then Microsoft Fabric was copied by Databricks Delta Lake.
There was bugs in windows from Microsoft. ( Windows 11,13...). so Microsoft currently using Linux Systems which are prevalent in Google and Databricks. Google is the ultimate master of every thing from Databases or IoT Devices etc ....
