Error with SQL analytics endpoint after adding a shortcut to a schema in a different workspace

A colleague created a lakehouse called PAGP_Capitation, and I have Admin privileges on the workspace.

I created a Semantic model, and a Power BI report for this lakehouse.

This morning, a created 2 shortcuts to schemas in another lakehouse (in another workspace), and tried to update the Semantic model.  I went in to edit mode, and clicked on Edit tables, and got the following error:

I opened up the SQL analytics endpoint, which said "We're loading your SQL analytics endpoint metadata".

I deleted the shortcuts, but got the same message in the SQL analytics enpoint.

I clicked on the refresh button at the top left of the screen, under "Home", and got this error:

The SQL query failed while running. Message=[METADATA DB] <ccon>(CODE:80002) The [dms$system].[DbObjects] appears to be corrupted (cannot find any definition of type 2)!</ccon>, Code=50000, State=0

How can I resolve this?

    Hi Anonymous,

According to the preview limitations of Lakehouse schemas, the SQL Analytics Endpoint and Semantic Model are among the functionalitites which are not supported in the current release of public preview:

      Hi Prashanth,

I looked at that link, and I don't see where it says SQL Analytics Endpoint and Semantic Model are not supported.  Can you tell me which line in the table says this, please?

In fact, this link explicitly tells you how to use Semantic Models with lakehouse schemas:
