Dataflow Gen2: Failed to get the dataflow
- 1 year ago
**Update**
No solution was required. I waited a few hours and it worked again. I found no particular reason for this anomaly.
Hi ByteElephant,
We appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Please follow the steps below, which may help resolve the issue without requiring the recreation of dataflows:
-
Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the dataflows. If the permissions were recently modified, you may be unable to view them. Kindly check your role in the workspace and confirm that you have at least Contributor access.
-
In some cases, the issue may be temporary.Try refreshing your workspace by closing and reopening the browser or the Microsoft Fabric portal.
-
Cached data or cookies may interfere with the loading of dataflows. Please clear your browser cache and cookies, then attempt to access the dataflows again.
-
If the dataflow is accessible but fails to load, consider republishing it. Open the dataflow in edit mode, make a minor change (ex: add a comment or rename a step), save the modifications, and republish the dataflow.
-
Try accessing the dataflow using Power BI Desktop or Power Query to determine whether the issue is specific to the Fabric portal.
If you find this response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members facing similar queries.
Thank you.
