We have a Lakehouse, and we're currently unable to connect to the SQL endpoint using SSMS, Power Query, or any other tool.
We’re getting a timeout error, and in SSMS the following message appears:
----
Msg 24551, Level 18, State 40, Line 1
Encountered operating system error 5(Access is denied.) while attempting to read physical metadata.
----
Also, when trying to access the SQL endpoint in Fabric, the tables are not being displayed.
But reanding data inside of a Notebook works.
The Lakehouse was working fine until yesterday.

Hi @ToddChitt link to known issues: https://support.fabric.microsoft.com/known-issues/
That know issue was fixed, but you can take a look at the page, maybe is a different issue now.
Turns out it was the Warehouse Owner, they had not logged in to Fabric to renew their token in over 30 days. IMHO, ANYTHING created inside a Workspace needs to be owned by the WORKSPACE, and NOT dependent on other poeple or users.

I'm seeing the same thing today, about 50 days past this thread date. I am an Admin of the Workspace. I can query data from one Warehouse, but when I try on a second I get permission errors. Below is from SSMS:
@debiagui You mention this is a KNOWN ISSUE. Do you have links to the Microsoft Status ticket for it?
