ApiRequest UnknownServiceError (500) while creating Lakehouse in Copy Job Destination
I receive a backend 500 error when trying to create a new Lakehouse as a destination from within a Copy Job.
Error as seen in UI: ApiRequest UnknownServiceError with status: 500
This error occurs instantly upon clicking "Create and connect".
Steps to reproduce:
Go to Data Factory / Copy Job.
Select your data source.
Navigate to “Choose data destination.”
Select “New Lakehouse.”
Select your workspace.
Provide a name for the new Lakehouse.
Press "Create and connect."
An error will be generated.
Expected behavior:
The new Lakehouse will successfully be created and connected to.
Actual behavior:
Backend returns: ApiRequest UnknownServiceError with status: 500
The new Lakehouse will not be created successfully.
Environment details:
Region - e.g. WestEurope / CentralIndia
Capacity - F16
Workspace type - Fabric enabled
Browser - Google Chrome v144
-Time of occurrence (UTC)
-Activity ID. (DevTools → Network → Failed request copy

It is probably best to create a support ticket with microsoft for this
