A Typo in notifications, when saving a notebook as (in Korean)

Hi Team

When we save a notebook as something else, we can see “전자 필기장”(notebook) in the notification.

It appears translated as “노트북”(notebook) in workspace, create new, notebook.

That should be “노트북”.

I wonder why “전자 필기장” still exists.

Hello @Hongju_Jung ,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It seems that there is an inconsistency in the translation of the term "notebook" in the notifications and workspace sections. Specifically, "전자 필기장" is used in the notification, while "노트북" is used in the workspace and when creating a new notebook.

To resolve this issue, we recommend the following steps:

  • Check the localization files or translation resources used for the notifications and workspace. Ensure that the term "notebook" is consistently translated as "노트북" across all instances.
  • If "전자 필기장" is found in the localization files, update it to "노트북" to maintain consistency. This may involve coordinating with the localization team or using translation management tools.
  • After updating the translation, test the application to ensure that the term "노트북" is displayed correctly in both the notifications and workspace sections.
  • Once verified, deploy the updated localization files to the production environment.

After completing the above steps, if the issue persists, I suggest raising a support ticket with Microsoft Support. Kindly use the following link to raise a support ticket:

If this helps, then please Accept it as a solution and dropping a "Kudos" so other members can find it more easily.

Thank you.

Hi @v-tsaipranay

Thank you for your response.

That's not related to local files. That's just a notebook as Fabric item.

I will try to submit a support ticket.

Thanks,

Hong
