hi @PriscaSalve
the result of YEAR() is by default set as Whole Number. Do not change the type to Text, it seems OK, but you might need to calculate on year or at least compare them. If you change the type to Date, it takes the year number as a serial number starting from 1899-12-31, which is wrong.
Hi,
Or just simply create a column with format function :
Year = FORMAT( [YourDateColumn] , "yyyy" )
Hope it helps
PS : When you see your comumn as date type, it's normal you see 8 july 1905,
because it is 2014 days after the 1st january 1900.
Dates can be shown as serial numbers counting from 31/12/1899.
Hi @PriscaSalve,
You can try below expression for the table as this creates a Year column as Whole Number by default,
Table = ADDCOLUMNS(CALENDAR(DATE(2016,1,1), DATE(YEAR(TODAY()) + 5, Month(TODAY()), DAY(TODAY()))), "Year", YEAR([Date]))
Please refer to the below screenshot.
