window(), index() and other new function with live connection SSAS SQL Server 2022

why these new function can't be used with live connection to SSAS SQL Server 2022?

HI @klimkiv,

AFAIK, the live connection mode will use the remote data engine to manage data source and design visualizations. I suppose in this mode, some latest Dax functions may not exist or been released if you are work on an old version AS engines.
