"In the Filters pane, filter the table to only show cases where the Status is closed." how to show cases, am i suppose to create a slicer for status?

you achieve it from filter pane
follow below step
1. drag your status column in filter pane to filters on this page or filters on this visual
(i am taking visual level)
2. change basic filtering to advance filtering
3. choose is and write closed(or you want)
4. click on alppy filter.
