measure for previousyear

Hello i need a measure that will always do all my calculation -1 fiscal year. For Example  my busines revenu in 2019 is 30,000 I want in a card visual next to it my revenu of 2018 and a card next to revenu 2018 i want the difference between those 2 years 2019 - 2018.

i have made a tbale of card visuals and use a slicer to select the year and i want my cards next to it always -1 year so i have on the left side year 2019 with all the cards that are selected bij the slicer with my years and 1 want cards on the right side of it with the same values but of the year before

this is a measure i use for the right value but i want it that if i select a year this wil automaticly do -1 year so if i select 2019 in my slicer i want that calculation to show my value of 2018. my Fiscalyear colum is whole number format

CALCULATE(
    SUM('2 (Auditfile)'[saldo]),
    '2 (Auditfile)'[Kolom] IN { "Afschrijvingen" })

Hope someone can help me

If you can't grasp Power Bi Calendar from these videos then give up now ...because you will never ever become a Power BI Developer until you learn how to process dates. 😕

Most Power BI reports will needs dates, so it is really important that you learn about Power Bi Calendar.

Do the videos again and agiain until you learn.

I have answered the questioin on how to do year offset so I will close this ticket, thanks.

Thanks for reaching out for help.

I put in a lot of effort to help you, now please quickly help me by giving kudos.

Remember we are unpaid volunteers and here to coach you with Power BI and DAX skills and techniques, not do the users job for them. So please click the thumbs up and accept as solution button.

If you give someone a fish then you only give them one meal, but if you teach them how to fish then they can feed themselves and teach others for a lifetime.  I prefer to teach members on this forum techniques rather give full solutions and do their job. You can then adapt the technique for your solution, learn some DAX skills for next time and soon become a Power BI Super User like me.

One question per ticket please. If you need to extend your request then please raise a new ticket.

You will get a quicker response and each volunteer solver will get the kudos they deserve. Thank you !

i watch the video but i'm still stuck. if i have a colum of the years as whole number and 1 want a measure that does employee cost - employee cost selectedyear -1 something like that 🤔
