I have three tables in the model: Date, Targets, and Users. A sample is attached for reference. The relationships are set up as follows:
Target[Effectivedatekey] to Date[Datekey] (one-to-many, single direction).
Target[Agentkey] to Users[Agentkey] (many-to-one, both directions).
The Power BI report includes three slicers:
Reporting Period: Relative date slicer.
Period: Hierarchy slicer (refer to the attached image).
Name: from the Users table.
When I select "Weekend Date" from the Period slicer, no results are returned in the Users[Name] slicer.
When selecting "Weekend Date" from the Period slicer, automatically select the corresponding Month-End Date. Then, filter both the Targets and Users tables to return the relevant values in the Users[Name] slicer.
I donot want to change the targets to weekly .

I corrected your date hierarchy - note that it is not strictly required as the slicer visual can handle multiple fields.
Your calendar table is not long enoug, it does not cover the second target.

I have attached a sample PBIX file for reference. The expected output is as follows: when any date is selected from the second slicer (Period slicer), if the user has a corresponding target as of the Month-End Date, the username should appear in the slicer.
Currently, usernames are only appearing in the slicer if Month-End Dates are selected from the Period slicer. This is because the Targets table only contains Month-End Dates.
Target[Effectivedatekey] to Date[Datekey] (one-to-many, single direction).
that's the wrong direction.
