calculate value and drop duplicates in groups

Here is the data and I want to drop duplicate in "name" level by get the max value,

for example, after drop duplicates in name level, the sum value of type "high" is 2+5 rather than 2+2+5+4

do you have any ideas? Thank you.

Expected outcome measure: =
SUMX (
    SUMMARIZE ( Data, Data[Type], Data[Category] ),
    CALCULATE ( MAX ( Data[Value] ) )
)

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.

It is for creating a new table.

New table create =
GROUPBY (
    Data,
    Data[Type],
    Data[Category],
    "@MaxValue", MAXX ( CURRENTGROUP (), Data[Value] )
)

actually I am finding a way to create a measure that calculate the sum of the max value in category group,

the result is exactly like this,

is there a way to change the table into a measure? Thank you.
