The information captured is supposed to be split into which shift it appears on but it seems as though visually it is duplicating it and then when collated into a daily total of downtime it just takes one instance of each activity logged so the total downtime for each day will be correct but then when split into each shift it doesnt split it properly. Not sure why this would happen
Hi, @Yrstruly2021
Power BI employs a variety of data reduction strategies to manage large amounts of data in visuals. Policies applied to visuals can affect how data is aggregated and displayed, leading to duplication. I recommend reviewing data reduction policies for specific visual types to ensure they align with the desired representation of shift data. For more details on data reduction strategies, visit Power BI data points:

Make sure that the visual level filter is set correctly to distinguish between shifts. Incorrect or missing filters can result in data being aggregated across shifts instead of being split accordingly.
Check the relationships in your data model to make sure they're correctly configured to support splitting data by shift. Misconfigured relationships can result in inaccurate representations of data in visuals.
