Refresh data on a merged query not updating new data

I have created a merged query in power query which worked perfectly (added a column in excel sheet to a sql model). Then when I added new source data to the excel, and refreshed, the data itself upd...

  1. Go to the Manage Queries pane in Power BI and ensure that both table_sql and table_excel are correctly linked in the data model.
  2. Refresh the entire data model, not just the table. Right-click on the data model in Power BI and select "Refresh All".
  3. Try clearing the data model cache via File > Options > Data Load > Clear cache.
