Trying to Write an IF function using Toda()

Hi, I'm attempting to write an a DAX function that says:

IF( Tody() >= Date Column A, Then Column B, Else Column C)

For some reason,  I am missing a key component as the Measure I am writing is not allowing my to select my column names.  All it is displaying are function types.

Just wondering i someone could help. Thanks.
