Total average per category

Hi,

I am currently trying to calculate the total average for a category over a period.

I want the data/table looking like this:

Supplier/Period         17/18                    18/19                  19/20                     20/21

                             AVG   ACTUAL      AVG   ACTUAL     AVG   ACTUAL     AVG   ACTUAL

1                            10%      10%         10%       20%        10%      5%          10%       5%

The actual data is a measure.

Right now, with the calculations that I have tried, it just shows either the same as the actual or a number, which I can not figure out how it is calculated.

I hope you can help.

    Hmm... all of the values of the measure are exceptionally higher than the actual values? Shouldn't I be using Average or AverageX or something?

  • Anonymous , Not very clear, Try a measure like

    Avg = calculate([ACTUAL], allexcept(Table, Table[Supplier]))

        Anonymous , Try

        Avg = calculate(AverageX(Table,[ACTUAL]), allexcept(Table, Table[Supplier]))

        Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
